TWO MEN who carried out purse thefts across Worcestershire in just one day have been handed a suspended sentence.
The pair carried out all the raids last Friday in Waitrose in Droitwich, Aldi in Bromsgrove and then in Worcester.
Alexandru Mihai, 41, from Reading, and Iaonut Muteanu, 28, from Derbyshire, were arrested a day later on suspicion of theft.
They were convicted and court and have been given a 12-week sentence, suspended for 12 months.
