A CRASH between a car and a lorry has closed the M5 southbound between Droitwich and Worcester with delays expected.
Emergency services are at the scene of the ‘serious’ incident which took place between junction five and six earlier this afternoon.
Firefighters from Worcester, Bromsgrove and Droitwich are on the scene alongside paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) and officers from West Mercia Police.
Drivers are being advised to follow a diversion off junction five and through Droitwich, turning left at the junction with Pershore Lane which will lead them back to junction six.
