A DRIVE-IN cinema experience was top of the bill for Perry Manor residents as they motored back in time to the 1950s.
On the day, residents were treated to a screening of the all-time classic film Grease.
The team went all out to decorate the home’s cinema to create a 1950s inspired setting, with residents enjoying diner-stye milkshakes, hot dogs and popcorn as part of their immersive cinema experience.
Wayne Roberts, a resident at Perry Manor, said: “The lifestyle team went all out to make us feel like we were back in the 1950s – from traditional drive-in cinema decorations to all the classic treats we would have had. It felt like we stepped back into the past.
“‘I enjoyed it immensely – not only all the effort made, but also because my two daughters were obsessed with Grease when they were young.
“It brought back happy memories of them being little and watching it lay on the floor, resting their heads on their bedroom pillows’’.
