Engineers on route as Bromyard Road traffic light fault causes queues

Worcester Editorial 10th May, 2022   0

HIGHWAYS chiefs have confirmed engineers are on the way to fix faulty traffic lights at a busy Worcester junction.

The lights at the A44 Bromyard Road junction with Watery Lane failed this morning (Tuesday) and the fault has now been reported to Worcestershire Highways.

St John’s Coun Richard Udall reported the fault (below) and took to Twitter to warn motorists of delays on the busy route into the city.

Highways chiefs have urged motorists to seek an alternative route or take care at the junction itself.
