Music fit for heroes

Worcester Editorial 16th Apr, 2022   0

A CELEBRATION of rock and pop across the eras to raise cash for Help for Heroes will make a stop at the Swan Theatre.

Rock for Heroes returns after an 18-month hiatus because of the pandemic and will bring a rock show like no other to the Worcester venue on April 22.

Following on from its hugely successful first year of touring, the all-new experience of Rock for Heroes will bring the perfect combination of rock and pop from the golden eras to the present day to raise cash for the much-loved military charity.

Collections will be held after every show as organisers continue their ambitious bid to raise £2.5million for the cause.

Performed by a full live rock band and superb singers, complete with brilliant personalities and comedy value this really is a night out unlike any other.

With music from artists such as Queen, Dire Straits, David Bowie, Status Quo, Bryan Adams, Elton John, AC/DC, Whitesnake and more there will be no bad wigs just great riffs.

A show spokesperson said: “This isn’t a tribute act this is simply paying tribute, the best way we can to the legends in music.

“Escape the nine to five and let your hair down with the Rock For Heroes family.”

The show kicks off at 7.30pm on Friday (April 22) and tickets are £20.50.
