TWO men have died following a serious road traffic collision in Ombersley which closed the A449 overnight.
Emergency services including firefighters from Worcester and Droitwich and West Midlands Ambulance Service were called at 9.36pm last night (Wednesday).
An ambulance, two paramedic officers and a MERIT trauma doctor and critical care paramedic attended the scene.
“Upon arrival we found the drivers of the two cars both in a critical condition,” a WMAS spokesperson said.
“Unfortunately, it immediately became apparent that nothing more could be done to save them and they were confirmed deceased at the scene.”
The A449 has now been reopened in both directions.
