Today's the day for secondary school place results in Worcester

Worcester Editorial 1st Mar, 2022   0

FAMILIES across Worcestershire will find out today, which secondary school their children will be starting at this September.

This year in Worcestershire, the County Council received 6,196 applications.

Everyone who made an application for a secondary school place has received an offer of a place.

Coun Marcus Hart, cabinet member for Education and Skills said:  “Starting high school is another milestone moment in the education story of our pupils. I’m really pleased that 9 in 10 of Worcestershire’s children will be starting secondary school in one of their preferred schools in September.”

99 per cent of this year’s secondary school applications in Worcestershire were made online by visiting the dedicated pages of the council’s website.

School place offers are available to view via logging on to your account, and an email will be sent informing you of the update.
