CARING cricket sponsors have given St Richard’s Hospice a welcome boost by handing over their shirt sponsorship for Worcestershire’s Vitality Blast fixture against Leicestershire.
Morgan Motor Company will step back for the game on June 27 to allow the hospice to display its logo on the Rapids shirts which will then be auctioned off to raise additional money to support St Richards’ work in the local community.
The generous gesture from Morgan comes in response to a challenging year for St Richards Hospice, who have missed out on a large amount of expected income due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
David Hoskins, the club’s head of commercial and operations, said: “We are incredibly grateful to Morgan for this unique opportunity that they are providing to St Richard’s Hospice. Their generosity will help raise awareness and vital funds so they can continue to support the local community.
