FLOOD waters are receding across Worcester after the River Severn once again bore the brunt of the heavy rain caused by Storm Christoph.
The city saw river levels on a par with February’s record-breaking deluge with the peak on Saturday (January 23) coinciding with heavy snow in Worcestershire.
A number of city roads were affected by the floods including Hylton Road and Tybridge Street while flood improvement works ensured New Road remained open to traffic.
Observer reader Dave Grubb captured the watery and wintry scene across the Faithful City.
