CARING NHS heroes at the Worcestershire Royal Hospital have been thanked for their efforts during the pandemic by care home residents.
During their weekly flower arranging sessions, residents of Latimer Court in Worcester dreamt up the idea of sending thanks to the hard-working Royal staff.
As a result, a member of the Latimer Court team was dispatched to deliver residents small floral creations and added the posies to staff members cars in the hospital car park.
General manager Kerry Hill has already received a call from one staff member who said they were touched by the gesture.
“It was a little message to say we think they are amazing and to thank them for all they’ve done and continue to do.” she said.
“We’re just happy to hopefully put a smile on the faces of these hard-working members of our local community.”
