Worcester Editorial 24th Jun, 2020   0

THE DRIVER of this car was clocked at 110mph on the M5 earlier today.

The motorist was stopped by officers from Worcestershire Operational Policing Unit between Junction 5 (Droitwich) and Junction 6 (Worcester).

Officers described the McLaren – a brand famously associated with Formula One – as ‘beautiful’ and ‘capable of speed’ but said today’s showcasing by the driver was ‘not the greatest move’.

Travelling at more than 100mph on any UK road usually results in an instant disqualification.
