BROTHERS who both attend Tudor Grange Academy have been fund-raising for local charity Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven (WBUH) by hand making pink bead bracelets to sell.
To date, Brandon Ashby, 13 and younger sibling Josh, 11, from Worcester have raised £115 for WBUH.
They visited the unit to present the money to the consultant breast surgeon Steven Thrush and fund-raising manager Alexandra Craigie.
The brothers had a guided tour of the Breast Unit and met some of the team and nurses.
“How wonderful that these boys should think about fund-raising in this way, it shows such consideration and awareness of their community,” Mrs Craigie said.
“Thanks to everyone who has bought a bracelet and supported both our charity and the boys’ efforts.”
Call the charity office on 01905 733786 or visit www.worcsbreastunithaven.com for more on the unit.
