THREE people were arrested for shoplifting after a police pursuit which ended at Junction 5 on the M5.
A TPAC was used by officers from Worcestershire Operational Policing Unit to stop the black Ford Mondeo estate in its tracks near Droitwich.
A TPAC technique is used when those being chased fail to stop – police vehicles pull alongside and in front to end the pursuit.
All the items – which were taken from shops in Worcester – were recovered and the police also found the insurance being used was fraudulent.
The trio have now been taken into custody.
