A £3,000 FUNDING boost from the Worcestershire Freemasons will help Acorns Children’s Hospice provide sensory technology games for life-limited and disabled children.

The Worcestershire Masonic Lottery Fund provided the cash with match-funding coming from the group’s Charitable Foundation.

Derek Taylor, from the Freemasons, presented a cheque to the hospice’s chairman Toby Porter.

The money will go to the Lifelites scheme which includes virtual reality games, such as dragons, Lego and football, along with assistive technology for youngsters.

The project will make a difference to the lives of the children being cared for by the hospice and enable them to play, be creative, control something for themselves and communicate
