A POPPY appeal collection tin was stolen from a premises on Foregate Street on Armistice Day (Monday).
The theft took place at 6.30pm when a ‘rough looking’ man described as white, 6ft 2ins, wearing a beanie hat placed a black fleece over the box and left with it under the fleece.
He turned left and walked down Cheshire Cheese Alley.
