MAYOR of Worcester Coun Allah Ditta was on hand to cut the ribbon on a new Hobbycraft store for the city.
The arts and crafts retailer took the wraps off its new site at Blackpole Retail Park with the creation of 20 new jobs.
After opening its doors on October 8, a day of celebrations was held last Saturday (October 12) with the first 100 shoppers through the doors given a free Hobbycraft goody bag.
Customers were also able to enjoy free face painting and a deco patch workshop on the day.
Store manager Chris Hancox said: “Our new store is packed with crafting materials to suit all ages and abilities, and beginners through to experienced crafters are all welcome to pop into the store and chat to our creative colleagues.
“They’re always happy to share their knowledge, tips and tricks,” he added.
