MAYOR of Worcester Coun Allah Ditta will hold a concert at the Guildhall on Wednesday (July 31) to raise cash for his four local charities.
Coun Ditta is devoting his year in office to supporting St Richard’s Hospice, Worcester Wheels, Headway Worcestershire and Worcester Cathedral.
The concert will start at 7.30pm and be an evening of Ghazal, folk Geet and Punjabi singing with two acclaimed performers, Sabir Mirza and Aahista Aahista.
“This will be a memorable concert with two of the best Punjabi and Pakistani music performers in the UK,” Coun Ditta said.
“They are both making the wonderful gesture of giving their time for free to help raise funds for some of the best-loved causes in Worcester.
