THOUSANDS of Christians from across Worcestershire will come together at the University of Worcester Arena to worship God and to pray for the county.
Last year, more than 1,000 people from local churches crammed into Worcester Cathedral and this year the event is moving to the arena next Sunday (June 9) to give more people the opportunity to gather together.
June 9 is Pentecost Sunday when Christians mark the coming of the Holy Spirit to the disciples after Jesus’s death.
At 3pm there will be an event for families with ALIVE Worcestershire taking to the stage for a fun, high-energy worship concert led by singer/songwriter and author Shell Perris with the iSingPop band and a special guest appearance by international speaker Rob Parsons.
At 7.30pm, the arena will be full again with Christians from churches across Worcestershire gathering to pray for the county.
