CITY dog owners are being warned to be on their guard after a number of dog biscuits covered in white powder were left close to the zip line in Cripplegate Park.
A concerned resident raised the alarm at 4.45pm yesterday (Saturday) and officers attended the scene this morning to remove all the biscuits and a large amount of the unknown white powder.
Police have urged dog walkers to take care in the area as traces of the mysterious substance could still be close to the scene. No indication has been given whether the substance is harmful or not.
