CHILDREN’s charity Barnardo’s has invited people to donate their unsuitable Christmas presents.
A recent survey revealed more than 60 million unwanted presents are given every year, at a cost of £380million.
Barnardo’s chief executive Javed Khan said: “It can be difficult to buy the perfect present for a family member or friend. So, if you unwrapped a gift that wasn’t right for you, do something special and donate it to your local Barnardo’s shop.
“This will help us to raise vital funds so that we can continue to support some of the most vulnerable children and young people across the UK.”
