THE PARENTS of a child struck by an man who leapt over a pram in the centre of Worcester are being sought by police.
Officers want to check on the welfare of the child and to find out if an assault actually occurred.
A man and woman, presumed by police to be the child’s parents, were pushing the pram in Mealcheapen Street at about midday on December 19.
It’s believed the man struck the child in the pram with his foot causing a facial injury although no child has been admitted to A&E in Worcester, Kidderminster or Redditch.
The child’s parents are asked to call PC James Potter on 101.
