Three men sought after Cripplegate Park assault

A MAN in his 20s was assaulted in Cripplegate Park after he was approached by three unknown men.

The victim was sitting on a bench at around 2.30pm on Monday (July 30)

He was punched and fell to the floor, where he was kicked.

The victim sustained a head injury and was taken to hospital for treatment and later discharged.




A quantity of cash and a phone were stolen.

Two of the men are described as Asian, in their early twenties, clean shaven, around 5ft 9ins, of thin build and were dressed in all black. One of them was wearing a black baseball hat.


The other man is described as black, in his early twenties with short black hair, and was also dressed in all black.

Anyone who may have seen three men matching these descriptions in the area at that time, or who witnessed the incident is asked to contact West Mercia Police on 101 quoting incident number 417 of Monday 30 July.
