PERFORMING arts students in Worcester will be dancing the day away on Saturday to raise funds to paint a community centre.
All Sorts of Performing Arts students will be taking part in a Danceathon from 2pm to 4pm on March 24 at their new base, Medway Youth and Community Centre.
All are welcome and the money raised will go towards painting the community centre which is also used by Worcester Action for Youth who run a regular Youth Club and Medway Munchkins Play Group.
Principal of All Sorts, Stuart said: “It is exciting times for all here at Medway we want the local community to be proud of it’s centre and what everyone here can offer.
“Community is really important to me and Medway is about opportunity, making friends, volunteering, it’s important to keep this in Worcester.”
Further plans are in place for children’s parties, regular family shows and a summer fate on June 10.
