A CITY data analyst is getting set to saddle up and cycle from London to Brussels in aid of Smile Train, an international children’s charity which provides free surgery and care for children suffering with cleft lip and palate in developing countries.
James De Cothi, 26, will be undertaking the 252 mile cycle over the Easter weekend along with his old university friend Julian Woolley.
The pair cycled to Paris together last summer over four days and are changing gears for a new challenge.
Their first challenge saw them originally set a fund-raising target of £300 which was hit inside two days, so the pair have raised the bar to £500.
“Starting on Good Friday, we will slip into some lycra and saddle up for a swift 252 mile journey from Maida Vale in London to Brussels in Belgium,” James said.
