CITY residents are being reminded to make sure they are registered to vote ahead of the May 3 poll.
Local government elections select councillors, who are responsible for making decisions on running services in your local area. These include housing, planning, parks, leisure, recycling and waste collection, and much more.
In order to vote in the upcoming local election, residents must be on the electoral register. The deadline to register to vote is fast approaching, so Worcester City Council is urging residents who have not already registered at their current address to make sure they do so in time.
City residents can register online gov.uk/register-to-vote by 11.59pm on Tuesday, April 17.
