SPECIALIST lawyers at Worcester law firm mfg Solicitors are supporting a popular city hospice as part of a new year will-writing drive.
Throughout February, mfg will be offering to write wills as part of St Richard’s Hospice’s ‘Write a Will’ month which encourages people to plan for their future and raise cash for a good cause.
The Tything-based firm will be writing wills at a reduced cost – £95 for a single will or £150 for a couple.
Amanda Piper, head of the law firm’s Elderly Care and Court of Protection team, said: “The campaign gives people the chance to make certain their possessions are passed on to those closest.”
In the past five years Mrs Piper and her colleagues have raised almost £15,000 for St Richard’s Hospice through the scheme.
