A BURGLAR has been jailed for almost three years after DNA linked him to the crime scene.
John Copson was given two years and 11 months when he admitted burgling a home in Elmton Road, Creswell, Derbyshire on August 11.
The 46-year-old, of Wylds Lane, Worcester, broke in through a conservatory door and took computer games, a tablet, cameras and a mobile phone.
Copson was arrested after DNA at the scene was sent away for forensic testing.
