Time to Pound the Bounds again

WORCESTER residents are being urged to put their best foot forward and sign up for next year’s Pound the Bounds fund-raising walking event in aid of the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.

Once again taking place in Worcestershire, hundreds of walkers and runners are expected to tackle the beautiful terrain in the village of Rock near Kidderminster on Sunday, May 6 2018.

Those who take part can choose from a marathon, 18 mile, half marathon, nine or six mile route, or join the family treasure trail, all helping to raise funds for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.

Registration starts from £6.00 for the six mile route, £8.00 for the nine mile, half marathon, 18 mile and marathon routes. Walkers and runners are also encouraged to raise sponsorship money for the charity leading up to the event.




Michelle McCracken, Worcestershire fund-raising manager for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, said: “Pound the Bounds is a great challenge for walkers and runners of all abilities. The last event raised over £5,000 for the charity, funding two lifesaving air ambulance missions.

“We hope to raise even more next year with the help of our fantastic supporters.”
