A 28-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with murder following a knife attack in Norton.
Daryl Sampson, of Broomhall Cottages, Worcestershire, appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court this morning where he was remanded in custody.
He will appear again before magistrates on Monday.
He is understood to be the son of 63-year-old Robert Sampson who died following the attack which took place in Crookbarrow Road at 11pm on Thursday night.

Although the family confirmed his identity and released a photo of Mr Sampson, West Mercia Police have confirmed formal identification has yet to take place.
Officers were called to the Norton street after reports of a man attacking Mr Sampson and when they arrived at the scene they found the 63-year-old with a serious head injury and a stab wound to the body.
Mr Sampson was pronounced dead at 12.31am this morning on Friday
Supt Stacey Williamson said: “This attack happened in the middle of the street and was witnessed by a number of people.
“We will have extra officers in the area to provide reassurance to the community.”
