A CYCLIST in his 50s has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after a crash involving a car in Warndon.
Emergency services, including police and paramedics, were called to Cotswold Way, near to Bosch, at about 12.15pm this afternoon.
The crash involved a car and the cyclist who is in his 50s.
West Midlands Ambulance Service sent one ambulance, a paramedic officer and the Air Ambulance from Strensham was called to the scene.
A West Midlands Amubulance Service spokesperson said: “The man sustained serious injuries and, due to his condition, the staff worked as a team to administer rapid trauma care at the roadside.”
He was then airlifted to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
Cotswold Way was closed for several hours, following the incident.
