A CONCERT to kick-off Breast Cancer Awareness Month is being held in Worcester to raise funds for the Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven.

Breast Unit Events is hosting renowned cover band Come Together, along with special guests at its Band Night next Saturday at The Pavilion in The Park, Cripplegate Park.

Breast Unit Events was set up in 2014 by best friends Kate Butler and Susie Coleman, who have both had experience of breast cancer.

Kate said: “We can’t wait for the concert. It’s kicking off Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Worcester’s Think Pink in October.

“We’re looking forward to getting our dancing shoes on and having great fun whilst raising money for this fantastic cause.”

The event starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £20 per person, which includes food.
