FORMER members of a Worcester football team are being sought for a reunion to celebrate 50 years since it was first formed.
Local lads John Hope and Micky Rowe formed the Comer Gardens Football Club in 1967 and played in the Worcester Saturday League.
The club rose to prominence over the next two decades and organisers hope to trace those who laced up their boots and took to the field in the 1960s and 70s.
Together with her husband, Jan Vale is organising the event in October and has already scored success by locating a number of former players.
A number of the players in the pictures above have been traced but Jan believes many more, including those not in the pictures, are out there.
Anyone who played under the management of the late Jack Cox is particularly welcome to get in touch and help share their memories of the beautiful game.
