A WORCESTER student has taken her career to new heights after she became a member of Thomson’s cabin crew.

Former Travel and Tourism student at Heart of Worcestershire College (HoW College), Stacey Preston is flying high after she gained her wings.

Stacey originally studied A-Levels at sixth form but then chose to attend college to gain her qualifications.

She studied the fast-track course which enabled her to complete her studies in just one year.

Speaking about her time at college, Stacey said: “I’ve always wanted to be Cabin Crew since I was young.

“Even though I was 18 once I’d finished sixth form, and could apply for positions in the industry, I really wanted to come to HoW College to get a specific qualification in Travel and Tourism and further my knowledge and skills.”

“I really liked the course; it’s well-structured and more manageable; specialising in one subject as opposed to three different A-levels.

“I particularly enjoyed the mix of practical and theory sessions giving us all a good insight into the industry.”

HoW College is committed to providing high quality vocational courses which enables students to achieve their dream careers.
