THE MAYOR of Worcester is inviting residents to join him on a musical world tour when the popular Worcester Concert Brass band come to town.
Coun Paul Denham’s evening of popular international music will be staged on Friday, March 24 in the Guildhall.
The programme will be performed by Worcester Concert Brass and is in aid of the Mayor’s three nominated charities – Midlands Air Ambulance, YHA Breaks for Kids and Action for Children.
Coun Denham said: “Nothing beats the sound of a live brass band and the Guildhall is a really spectacular setting in which to relax and listen to Worcester Concert Brass.
“As well as having the pleasure of listening to some great music, it’s good to know that all proceeds from the ticket sales will be donated to three very worthwhile local charities.”
The event starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £8, which includes a glass of wine or soft drink, and can be bought either in advance from the Tourist Information Centre on the High Street, or on the door.
