YOUNGSTERS from a Worcester school put their brains to the test as they competed in the Kids Lit Quiz.
Two teams from Blessed Edward Oldcorne Catholic College recently took part in the regional heats of the competition at the Butts Arena in Coventry.
After battling through ten rounds of questions in categories such as detectives, comics, birds and felines, team two came 5th with a total of 65 points, and team one came first with a total of 81.5 points.
Both teams won best of round books and team one also received a total of £80 as first prize and rugby tickets.
Team one then moved on to compete in the National Final held at the Barbican Centre in London earlier this month.
