Man threatened with weapon during robbery in Ronkswood

A 33-YEAR-OLD man was threatened with a weapon during a robbery in Ronkswood.

Between 11.30am and 12.30pm on Friday (September 16), the man was walking down an alley path off Newtown Road, when he was approached by three unknown men.

One of the suspects had demanded a cigarette from the victim, and when he refused, it is reported that he then threatened him with a weapon and stole an iPod nano and his wallet which contained a large amount of money.

Suspect one is described as an Asian man in his mid 20s, around 6ft in height, slight large build. He had short dark hair and a dark groomed beard. He had been wearing a black coloured hooded top which appeared to be quite shiny, and black coloured trousers.




Suspect two is described as an Asian man in his early 20s, around 5ft 10ins in height, slim build and clean shaven. He had been wearing a dark coloured baseball cap and a dark coloured top.

Suspect three is described as an Asian man in his early 20s.


No-one was injured during the incident.
