TWO lorries and two cars have crashed on the A4440 Whittington to Norton Island, leading to major delays.
Emergency services were called to the scene, between the Norton Road junction and Whittington roundabout, at about 9.43am this morning (Wednesday).
No one was trapped in the accident and fire crews made the vehicles safe.
Traffic is backed up to the Ketch Island and West Mercia Police have said a road closure in both directions will remain in place for several hours.
Police are also urging drivers to avoid the area.
