A PACKED week of events to protect the wildlife along the canal in Worcester has been organised by the city’s Canal Group.

City residents can take part in Worcester Canal Group’s Wildlife Week from Saturday (September 10) until Sunday, September 18.

Various activities to highlight the range of wildlife that lives along the canal from a ‘Moth Breakfast’ to a flower walk have been arranged for throughout the week.

Organisers also hope caring residents will lend a hand and help carry out a survey of all the wildlife living along the canal – from snails to swans and everything inbetween.
