Police appeal for witnesses after fight in Ronkswood shop

POLICE are appealing for information after two men were seen fighting in a shop in Ronkswood.

At around 6:40pm on Tuesday (June 21), two men were involved in a physical altercation at Deeway General Stores, off Teme Road, causing damage to stock, rendering it unsellable.

Two men from Worcester, a 23-year-old and a 32-year-old, have been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and bailed until Tuesday (July 17).

There were a number of peopleĀ in the store at the time and are being asked to come forward to provide police with an account of what happened.




Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident number 604s of 21 June.
