Witnesses sought after attempted robbery on Broad Street, Worcester

A MAN and a woman have attempted to rob another man as he walked along Broad Street in Worcester.

The 36-year-old victim was walking along Broad Street between 10.45am and 11am on Thursday (June 9) when he was approached by the two suspects

The woman shouted a demand for money from the victim and then followed him as he turned to walk along the Deansway.

It is then believed the woman may have produced a bladed weapon.




Nothing was taken during the incident and the victim was not harmed. He ran from the scene and located a patrolling PCSO to report what had happened.

Investigating officers are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident. Please call 101 quoting incident number 226s of Thursday, 9 June.
