WORCESTER youngsters are being invited to ‘travel through time’ at St John’s Library.

Worcestershire Libraries and Learning service is holding a historical-themed family event this Saturday (April 9) at the library, where children can find out more about the arts and crafts of Ancient Egypt, Rome and Greece.

Young historians, aged from three to nine, can have a go at making Egyptian puzzles, pyramids, canopic jars, Greek jewelled caskets and Roman masks.

Janet Davidson, library customer advisor said: “These events have been running for the past three years and are always popular with young children and their families.

“They allow children to have fun and learn, using the books and resources St John’s Library has to offer.”

The event takes place from 10am to midday.
