A INTERNATIONALLY-RENOWNED security expert has visited a Worcester school to teach youngsters about modern day spy ware.
David Kearns, a security expert and former policeman spoke to Year 4 pupils at Redhill CE Primary School about the various forms of surveillance footage. Mr Kearns showed the children footage of a staged crime and split the class into witnesses and detectives. The detectives then had to gather as much information as they could from their eye witnesses.
He also showed the children his array of covert cameras, which were hidden everywhere including in the side of his laptop bag, phone case, watch and car key fob.
Year 4 teacher, Charlotte Foy said: “The whole talk was really enlightening and opened the children up to the different types of surveillance kit used to help prevent crime today.
“A huge thank you to David Kearns for giving up his time to talk to the class who found the talk very inspirational.”
