Spate of shed thefts in Worcester

Worcester Editorial 23rd Mar, 2016 Updated: 19th Oct, 2016   0

WORCESTER sheds have become a target for thieves as the number of break-ins this month rises.

Overnight on Sunday, March 20 to Monday, March 21, an attempt to gain entry to a garage door on Droitwich Road was made with damage to a padlock.

During the same period of time on Blanquettes Avenue, thieves gained entry to a shed taking a generator, a radio and electrical tools causing damage to the shed in the process.

The break-ins follow a previous garden shed theft in Lower Broadheath between midnight on Tuesday, March 1 and 9am on Sunday, March 13 , where power tools, bikes and fishing equipment were taken.
