A FAMILY fun ‘Woodlands Alive!’ event will take place at Worcester Woods Country Park.

Worcestershire Countryside Service (WCS) is inviting families along to the free event this Sunday (February 28), where they can see working woodland in action.

There will be heavy horses, willow weaving, wood turning, hurdle making, woodland craft stalls and children’s activities on display.

WCS’ Tanya Feasey said: “This is a fun, free event for the whole family. Learn all about traditional woodland crafts and come and see the heavy horses dragging huge logs through the woods.”

The event takes place from 10am to 3pm.

Call Rob Stevenson or Tanya Feasey on 01905 766155 for more information.
