Teenage cyclist airlifted after two car crash

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a young girl was airlifted to hospital following a traffic collision in Worcester.

West Mercia Police is investigating the collision between a 16-year-old cyclist and two cars, which took place on Tolladine Road at the junction with Hollymount Road on Friday November, 13.

The crash which took place at 10.28am, between a white mountain bike, a grey Nissan NV200 and a grey Peugeot Expert E7, resulted in the young girl being airlifted to hospital with head injuries, but she is now in a stable condition.

Tolladine Road was reopened at 12.35pm.
