CUPID has been flying around a new city housing development turning stressful home buys into romance.

Two couples got engaged while buying homes in Gregory’s Bank – two of the biggest decisions of their lives.

Adam Jackson and Cassy Bramley, and Dean Swingler and Cia Duckworth were looking for a place to settle down when the two romantics popped the question.

Mr Jackson said: “Getting engaged had always been on the cards and when we purchased our new house I couldn’t think of any reason not to ask Cassy to marry me as well.

“What’s more, we’re expecting our first child in just a few weeks so it really is a magical time for us. “

Bev Hall, sales and marketing director at St. Modwen Homes said: “I’d like to congratulate both Adam and Cassy and Dean and Cia on their recent engagements, and wish them much happiness in their new home.”
