Motorcyclist left with life-threatening injuries

A MOTORCYCLIST was left with life-threatening injuries after he came off his bike at a busy junction on the outskirts of the city.

The rider was unseated from his Honda motorcycle at the junction of Shipston Close and Cotswold Way about 5.55am last Tuesday (February 3).

The man in his 50s was taken by ambulance to Worcestershire Royal Hospital where he is currently in critical condition with serious chest injuries.

PC Nick Warren from West Mercia Police said: “We are keen to speak to any persons who saw this incident. There are many businesses and factories in the area and we believe that persons may have been travelling to or from work following shift changes.”
