SUMMER loving is set to hit a city college when they put on their own production of one of the world’s most famous musicals.

Blessed Edward Oldcorne Catholic College will stage three nights of sing-a-long entertainment starting tonight (Wednesday) with their rendition of Grease.

Performances will then run tomorrow (Thursday) and Friday (January 16) with a cast of more than 50 students ranging from Year 7 to 11.

Jan Dale and Sophie Hampton take on the lead roles of Danny Zuko and Sandy, respectively, while they will be supported by Ethan Harper as Kenickie and Grace Whyte as Rizzo.

Principal Sean Devlin said: “I am so proud of the artistic talent of students and staff in the college.

“Grease will be yet again an outstanding performance, different but similar in excellence to the other brilliant productions we have put on.”

All performances get underway from 7pm at the Timberdine Avenue site.
