FESTIVE cheer is set to ring out in Kempsey this weekend as the village hosts a special Christmas concert.
Philomusica will be performing a programme called A Wildlife Christmas at St Mary’s Church on Saturday (December 13) at 4pm.
Linda Parsons, who will conduct the soloists and chorus with accompanist Simon Bertram, said: “It will include music and readings that explore the relationship between Christmas and all creatures great and small.
“There will also be lots of favourite Christmas music with opportunities for the audience to join in too, so it should be great fun.
“We’re delighted that the young singers from our own Philominor group will be taking part too.”
Tickets cost £8 with accompanying children free.
Tickets will be available on the door but they can also be booked by e-mailing [email protected] or by calling Lyn Rimell on 01905 820140.
