THE CITY’S leading manufacturer of heating and hot water technologies has scooped a further three coveted accolades.
Worcester Bosch Group has been rewarded for its industry-renowned excellence and claimed the hat-trick of prizes at the 2014 Best Factory Awards.
They won top spot in the ‘Best Supply Chain Management’, ‘Environment and Energy Award’, and ‘Best Engineering Plant’ categories.
Bob Murdoch, manufacturing director at the Bosch group, said: “It is a real honour for us to be acknowledges with as many as three prestigious awards given strong competition in each category.
“Almost a third of our company’s 1,500-strong workforce is employed in a manufacturing capacity and these awards are a testament to each and every one of our staff who strives to set and maintain the best standards.
“Our pledge to invest in ongoing research and development, and supply chain enhancements ensures we are able to consistently deliver efficiently manufactured products designed specifically for UK homes.
“This achievement underlines just how well our business continues to perform.”
The triple success comes just weeks after the brand claimed first place in the Which? boiler report for the fourth successive year.
The Best Factory Awards run in partnership between Works Management and Cranfield School of Management and have been celebrating Britain’s manufacturing talent since 1992.
